Eldyne was founded in Kolkata in 1987 to make safety signalling relays for Indian Railways. The work has grown to axle counters, whole signalling projects and now aircraft. The habit has not changed.

Safety-critical is a mindset before it is a certificate.

A relay that fails must fail to the safe side. That one rule shaped how we design, test and ship everything. It is why railways trusted us with axle counters, then with whole signalling projects, and why RDSO ranked our axle counters top for reliability in 2024.

When we started building drones, we brought the rule with us. Krishi-EL is an agricultural product engineered like a railway one.

We are a private company, still run by the people who founded it, still in Kolkata. Kyosan of Japan has been a shareholder since 2016.

With Alcatel, the Digital Axle Counter is introduced to Indian Railways for the 1st time.
2004
1st company to receive RDSO approval for both single- and multi-section Digital Axle Counters.

India's 1st large DAC project with Ansaldo, funded by the KfW Project, Germany.

1st comprehensive maintenance and support contract for Digital Axle Counters.
